UN WOMEN

Provide technical inputs to the design and formulation of programme/ project proposals and initiatives related to Women Peace and Security.

Facilitate and substantively contribute to the development of monitoring indicators, monitoring calendars, and field monitoring plans and quality assurance processes;

Manage the implementation and management of the GEEW programme

Provide coordination support in the development of a coherent Sudan Country Office communications and advocacy strategy

Provide technical and substantive guidance and assistance to the office relating to rule of law across the thematic area

Provide programme development advisory services on peace processes in the framework of the women, peace and security agenda

Collect information on shipments, customs clearance arrangements, prepare documents for UN Women shipments (received/sent);

Facilitate, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development and the national consultant the operational capacities and resources through one-on-one meetings and one group workshop

Provide background information for the development of the CO’s communication strategy;

Provide a coherent project communications and advocacy strategy/knowledge repository and hub for the project Coordinate and communicate with project’ partners and stakeholders

Review and provide feedback to project/ programme strategies and documents, workplans, case studies and related knowledge products and publications, as needed

Ensures cost-savings through proper use of vehicle through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, provision of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports;

Participate in review meetings and provide support to the assessment of the managerial and operational capacities of implementing partners in collaboration with the programme and technical team

Provide strategic analysis on issues relating to peace and development in BN with a view to assessing their impact on UNW programming and enabling the best support to BN state Office to mainstream peace building, environment and conflict…

Provide technical assistance to the Ministry Justice to ensure that the ministry meets its obligations under the Constitutional documents with regards to promotion and protection of human rights of women.

Review the planning & budgeting system and develop a strategic way forward on how the Ministry will ensure that the gender equality commitments are adequately considered and included during the design, implementation and financing…

Support the process of establishing well defined and structured accountability framework with well-structured gender unit accountable to high administrative level; Provide support to the establishment of monitoring and evaluation…

Strengthen the gender architecture within the ministry of health: drafting proposals on restructuring the pre-established gender unit at the ministry with clear mandate , functions and responsibilities;

Create network of female artists from the different states in due to intersectionality.

Coordinate the call/request for proposals, including the organization of technical review committees, and capacity assessment of partners;

Perform duties in full compliance with UN Women financial regulations and rules, policies and standard operating procedures, including internal controls.
