Context:
Background and rationale:
Under general guidance of the ES/NFI Project Officer and direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehousing Team leader will lead in coordinating all the pre‐positioned items for the IOM Sudan Mission.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Responsible for updating stock inventory and to keep track of all movements of items / packages for
emergency relief programs. - Assist warehouse team leader to maintain an appropriate layout of the warehouse, including configuration of racks, enduring availability of sufficient number of pallets, bins, and boxes.
- Coordinating with warehouse team leader for supply and delivery of schedules in order to rationalize
available warehouse capacities. - Assist in verifying, counting, and keeping proper records of all items arriving in the warehouse and assigning them with proper stock cards.
- Reporting any future deficit of items inside warehouse to be replenished.
- Leading the casual laborers in verifying, counting, and keeping proper records of all items received and dispatched from the warehouse on a daily basis.
- Achieving any other duties within the incumbent’s capabilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience: Education
University degree, preferably in Management, Logistics or Supply Chain.
High school/Certificate in the above fields with three years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
Experience in working in the field of procurement and logistics.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to present clear and concise information and
good in dealing with numbers.
Ability to handle confidential matters.
Good level of computer literacy especially Microsoft excel and word preferably.
Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, drives for results
Skills
Effectively applies knowledge of warehousing management issues within organizational context.
Actively contributes to an effective, collegial, and agreeable team Environment.

Languages
Fluency in English and Arabic.
