Human Resources Assistant – Save The Children

The Opportunity:

  • Ability to use systems for E- recruitment (ORELCE & TALEO).
  • Fully support in recruitment includes (dealing with HAC and labour office, prepare the advertisement, plan the recruitment process with LO and hiring manager.
  • Communicate the candidates/ inviting them for written/ interview processes.
  • HR filling system management and updates both soft (create electronic archive) and hard copy including personnel files.
  • Work closely with supply chain to book for written test venue as well as liaising with admin to booking vehicle to labor office/HAC.
  • Issue staff ID cards and keep records and updates.
  • Typing official letters and keep proper records for HR in and out correspondences
  • Responsible for keeping monthly follow up and keeping records of SC staff registration with the National Social Insurance Fund and the monthly payment records in all offices and quarterly reporting updates to the HR Manger
  • To assist for ensuring existence of, and efficient implementation of Agency standard HR management systems in SCS South Kordofan including recruitment/ staffing process including reference checking, on-boarding processes, deployment/transfers, compensation and benefits package, annual Appraisal and performance monitoring, disciplinary actions processes, etc
  • To assist in keeping central Personnel information Management such as employees’ personal records keeping/filing, etc
  • Assist in Central wage and benefit administration includingcontracts/payroll actions matter, time sheet completion monitoring, Staff social insurance.
  • To Assist in Liaising with Sub-Offices in all matters related to human resources management.
  • The job duties and responsibilities as set out above are not exhaustive and the Post holder may be required to carry out additional duties within reasonableness of their level of skills and experience.

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or any related field.

At least 2 years’ experience in HR & administration.

Good command in and ability to understanding of HR issues, including recruitment and selection, contractual documentation, disciplinary and grievance matters, and the provision of management information

Skills.

  • Reasonable communication skills, with the ability to provide clear advice from a distance.
  • Proven organizational skills with an ability to deliver consistently to deadlines on operational and project responsibilities.
