Duties

Under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the incumbent serves as the primary data entry and administrative support member of the non-expendable supply and inventory team. The incumbent is responsible for updating all property accountability records for ICASS, State, and all other subscribing agencies. S/he utilizes the ILMS system for non-expendable property.  The incumbent ensures that all appropriate documentation is produced, approved, and stored, according to federal record schedules. S/he reviews requisitions for the issuance, pick-up, and loan of property to all embassy offices, all other USG agencies, and all ICASS Pool residential houses and enter data accurately into computer systems.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: a Minimum of one (1) year supply or data entry related experience and previous office work is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have thorough knowledge of data entry and accounting procedures. Requires intermediate computer skills; data entry skills; and ability to use word processing and spreadsheet programs (Word and Excel).

Education Requirements:

Successful completion of secondary school is required.

LANGUAGE:  

English: Level III (Good Working knowledge) (This may be tested)

Arabic: Level III (Good Working knowledge) (This may be tested)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must possess the ability to work with repetitious entry of data with a high degree of accuracy. Be able to concentrate on several factors of data at the same time and be able to pace the workflow in order to produce a high input of accurate data.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Sudan may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
